Weather experts are saying a frosty beginning to the new year, with snow anticipated over large parts of the UK. Revelers are advised to dress warmly as sub-zero temperatures are expected for New Year's Eve.
Festive Plans Continue In Spite of Warnings
The Scottish capital's renowned Hogmanay celebrations are expected to take place, a contrast to last year's postponement. This proceeds amid weather alerts for snow over northern Scotland.
